Human hair waste? It’s the future!

On Tuesday June 7th the Rotterdam100 final has taken place at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. During this final the four competing teams, consisting of excellent (inter)national students, presented their solutions for ‘Next Economy’ business cases. These business cases were introduced by partner companies ABN AMRO, CGI, Port of Rotterdam, Clean Tech Delta and Rotterdam Partners. Mayor of Rotterdam Aboutaleb expressed his admiration for the talents: “Rotterdam100 proves that the city of Rotterdam is not a spectator when it comes to innovation, but always takes the lead in this!”

About the final
After 3 months of hard work during the ‘Getting It Done Battle’, it was time for the teams to present their results in front of the jury, consisting of alderman Maarten Struijvenberg (city of Rotterdam), Raymond Hüner (director Talent Solutions LinkedIn Benelux), Arjen Boekhold (co-founder Tony’s Chocolonely), Diederik Rus (founder, Angelien Sanderman (boardmember Hogeschool Rotterdam) and the audience. Read more here.
